I am convinced that the things my children will remember of their childhoods are the routines - Saturday morning bagels and NPR (we love Car Talk and Wait, Wait), decorating the Christmas tree with ornaments that we've had their whole lives or that they've made.... We drove all the way to Trinidad and saw the lighted light house. I've lived here so long, almost twenty years, this is the familiar stuff for me. I ended the day with dear friends listening to a concert and sharing the experience. Family and friends - the good stuff. Susan
